Terms of Service

By accessing or using FastStatement ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.

You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use this Service.

FastStatement provides bank statement conversion, PDF editing, bookkeeping analysis, and data export tools ("Services"). The Service converts uploaded PDF bank statements into structured data formats such as CSV, Excel, QBO, OFX, and QFX.

We process documents using automated systems. While we strive for accuracy, the Service is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee 100% accuracy in data extraction. Users are responsible for verifying converted data before use in financial decisions.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice, though we will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts with inaccurate or fraudulent information.

Each account is for individual use only. Sharing credentials or using automated systems to create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination.

We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption, SSL/TLS transport security, and automatic file deletion within the retention period specified by your plan.

FastStatement offers Free, Starter, Professional, Business, and Enterprise plans. Each plan has defined usage limits including page counts, feature access, and file retention periods.

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.

Usage limits are enforced on a per-billing-period basis (monthly for paid plans, rolling 24-hour for free plans). Pages consumed across conversion, editing, and bookkeeping are tracked independently against their respective limits.

If you exceed your plan limits, processing will be blocked until the next billing period or until you upgrade. We do not allow overage charges — your data is protected by strict limit enforcement.

Downgrade requests take effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to your current plan features until that date.

Uploaded files are processed for the sole purpose of providing the Service. We do not sell, share, or use your financial data for advertising or any purpose unrelated to the Service.

Files are automatically deleted according to your plan's retention period (24 or 48 hours). You may request earlier deletion at any time.

We process data in compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable data protection regulations. See our Privacy Policy for detailed information on data collection, processing, and your rights.

We use Supabase for secure data storage and Stripe for payment processing. Both providers maintain SOC 2 Type II compliance and employ enterprise-grade security measures.

You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law.

You may not attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limiting, or any security measures through device fingerprint manipulation, multiple account creation, API abuse, or any other means.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service or its processing algorithms.

You may not upload files containing malware, viruses, or any malicious content. You may not use the Service to process documents obtained through fraud, theft, or illegal means.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL FASTSTATEMENT, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
